(Notes: This is the second time Peter proposes to Mary Jane -- the first occurred in Amazing Spider-Man 182. The final page of the story features a classic full-page panel of Peter asking Mary Jane to marry him. This issue includes a full-page ad by Klaus Janson for the new Punisher (2nd) series. David Michelinie begins his 7-year run as the primary writer of the Amazing Spider-Man title.)
